let's dance tonight away,
let our feet move with rhythm to the humming of our hearts,
let's dance tonight away,
totally oblivious to the taunts of the devil,
let us waltz around and by and on the water fountain,
as the sound of water meeting water gives calm,
let's make the devil look and say,
why is he at peace even in turmoil,
eyes shut, i hear but three sounds play,
the sole of my feet gliding against the subtle coarse unfinished coating of the floor,
my heart beating so in sync with my hum,
the calm gushing of the water,
adding nature's pad to the band,
to pain let us dance,
and to every trouble,
it must hurt to be ignored,
i can see the folds on our devil's forehead,
even with my eyes shut,
signalling his frustration towards our incomprehensible calm,
and making obvious his desperate attempts to reach me,
reaching for residents of my heart.
