This may come off as slander, but trust me, it really is not. I'm too much of a kdrama fan to do such. I love the love Hyun woo and Hae In shared. I love the love Disney shows. The one where a prince falls in love with an estranged princess, as far as the list goes. I love love, and I love to see it. Some day I'll be in it, or star in it, who knows? Just before I got into my bathroom I saw this Ryan Gosling movie. And I know I was supposed to be preparing for my class by 10, but... Hear me out, this movie ate like for real. The love Colt and Jody shared made my lips curve foolishly. My days, I'm stalling, I like to stall.
Alright this is it. What I've been trying to say is this. That all these stories are beautiful. But they just don't deliver. Like do you get me? They are good and all. The butterflies, the adrenaline rush, and rapid heart beat sequence. But after all these, they are just duplicates that leave out the original. Deepfakes that mimic the real. The love the media shows us are true, but not enough. True love definitely isn't what you get after getting shot by cupid. The truest love is one that saves, heals, frees, delivers, etc. Truest love isn't what Romeo shared with Juliet, nor is it what Bonnie shared with Clyde. The love a mother hen has for her chicks is quite near. All of these are beautiful, really beautiful. But, the truest love, is one with Jesus as the example.
Greater love hath no man than this...yes, we all try to mimic love in all the forms that we can find it in, but the main template is christ. Learning to love like him is learning true love.
Thank you Seun. For reminding me that even if I have no love 😅. I am loved by my father . This is so reassuring
